Is my name... My day job is not a journalist. And I don't run a travel agency. I travel a tad more than an average person does, that's cos it's what I do for a living. For the time being at least. Envy me not cos the job glitz goes just as far as the Image hosting by Photobucket does, in between, it's (*7%!#@@?). Just another job, that's what I mean. But I love it and I love it, and I'm grateful. Anyhow, welcome to my weblog. In here, you'll get, if not little, scanty info on my globetrots and travels. Do not expect detailed accounts, nor travel-guide type facts and figs. Just some idiot-proof, Info-Sharing-101, you could find handy if you're looking up destinations, I've been to, myself. Feel free to indulge, heed my advice, dump it, comment, pop your queries or judge me, for all you fancy. All info are true at point of publishing, unless stated otherwise. Hmmph, just one advice. I share cos I'm naturally nice like that, but I'm not always, always right. Don't say I didn't warn you.

What say u...

If only I had...
"Something awfully familiar with those feelings I had about four years ago. But this time, it is more intense. The guilt that gnaw at my soul sent a tingling down my spine and every now and then it hit me at the core of my heart. It feels like a piercing, and everytime, I can't help the emotions from welling inside my eyes. Remorse and guilt filled up every air bubble that could be and causing me to choke in my throat."

When I had received the phone call from Mama, I had wanted just to send her to the clinic, like usually. Even after Uncle Din gave me the confirmation, I was adamant at finding out for myself. Seeing wasn't exactly believing. When I touched her face, it was still warm, and I called out to her, "Opah...Opah.."
Then the paramedics came and had asked Arie to witness the AED and the pronouncing.
Only then did it struck. It hit me like a thunderstorm of truths.
Everything that I have heard before, that passes by, that brushes against the ear like a light wind, is now here to seek it's redemption. Death, like life, is real.
My mind went into a complete flashback mode. To the last time I sent her to Dr Ho. The last time I kissed her hands. The flat I was looking for so we could live near her. Her last expression. The things she used to say. And how she would repeteadly tell me to eat, take care of myself and that she would Doa for my well-being. Her last phonecall. The bag I had wanted to get her. Her smiles. The desserts she made during the fasting month. When she saw Arie for the first time, but the last, and she said to me she was only 'segan'. Then I saw her fair skin, and I said a silent thank you. And I admire her for the way that my mum turns out. Then it hit me, the things that I could have done better. The things I should have done, if only I had...
Something awfully familiar with those feelings I had about four years ago, (when my paternal grandfather passed away). But this time, it is more intense. The guilt that gnaw at my soul sent a tingling down my spine and every now and then it hit me at the core of my heart. It feels like a piercing, and everytime, I can't help the emotions from welling inside my eyes. Remorse and guilt filled up every air bubble that could be and causing me to choke in my throat. Forgive me please, Opah.

Opah,
the beloved of many,
her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and others,
has peacefully departed.
- Al-Fatehah.
Semoga Allah (SWT) mencucuri rahmat keatas rohnya,
dan meletakkan nya diantara mereka yang beriman,
dan yang dikasihiNya.
Amin.
