Friday, August 04, 2006 I just got home from sending Mama for her weekly recital classes. And while I was contemplating if Musangz should deserve a good scrub at the carwash on my drive back, I found myself thinking out loud, bursting with ideas and thoughts to blog about. Accrue that to this book I'm currently so into that I just had to have it for company everywhere I go. I thought I could read it in between red lights and zebra crossings. Anyhow, I managed a couple of pages at the carwash cos I was second in line. Just when I wished there be queue, the ironies of life can't help it manifesting just exactly the opposite way (...than it should have been perfect otherwise...). LIFE. And cos I was cladded in my most worn and real see-thru t-shirt, fit for bad hair, specky, and oh-so-not-bothered to fill-in eyebrow days, I had decided against the interior of Musangz to be vacuumed cos otherwise I would have to step out of my car. And stepping out simply means putting my very reputation on the line. (Don't pity me please. It's sad I know that I have had to salvage a reputation from a neighbourhood carwash...but darn is one of them carwash fella cutelah!) A particularly longer than usual foaming and scrubbing session, notwithstanding, I'll vacuum another day. I looked bad. And there's no two way about that. I think I'll do without the extra attention that alongside my relationship limbos, mostly screw-ups has co-existed with some other unhappening not-worth-mentions. Though Sumeetha, an LSS I flew with just recently, insisted that I have a double number to my birthdate, and that in numerology terms, spells good luck. Though I would love to bellieve her and not alter the primordial impulses (don't we all love to believe good things?!) that drive all of human nature, I haven't always been lucky, so I don't trust. Period. |
